* Zyvox (linezolid) 2 mg/ml (600 mg / 300 ml) injection. Solution for Infusion. For Intravenous administration.
* Composition: Each mL contains:
& & – Active ingredient: Linezolid 2 mg.
& & – Other ingredients: dextrose, USP 50.24 mg, sodium citrate, USP 1.64 mg, citric acid, USP 0.85 mg, water for injection, USP qs.
* pH adjusted to 4.8 with sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid.
* Sterile and nonpyrogenic. Single dose container. Do not use in series connections.
* Dosage: As directed by the physician. See package insert for complete product information.
* Storage conditions:
& & Linezolid is sensitive to light. Retain overwrap prior to use.
& & Store at 25 degrees C (77 degrees F); excursions permitted to 15-30 degrees C (59-86 degrees F) [see USP Contolled Room
& & Temperature]. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
* Check for leaks by squeezing container firmly. If leaks are found, discard, as sterility may be impaired.
* The solution must be used immediately after the seal is first broken.
& & If not used immediatley, storage times are the responsibility of the user.
* Do not introduce any additives to this solution.
* Any unused solution must be discarded. Do not reconnect partially used bags.
