* Tygacil (tigecycline) 50 mg per vial. 10 Single Use Vials. Rx only.
* Reconstituted solution must be further diluted for I.V. infusion.
* For I.V. Infusion Only.
* Each vial contains:
& & – 50 mg tigecycline lyophilized powder for intravenous infusion.
& & – 100 mg lactose monohydrate. The pH is adjusted with hydrochloric acid (HCl), and if necessary sodium hydroxide (NaOH).
& & Contains No preservatives.
* Single use vial. Discard unused portion.
* Usual dosage:
& & The recommended dosage regimen for Tygacil is an initial dose of 100 mg, followed by 50 mg every 12 hours.
* Following reconstitution with 5.3 mL of 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP or 5% Dextrose Injection, USP,
& & the resultant solution will contain 10 mg/mL.
* Reconstituted solution should be yellow to orange in color; if not, the solution should be discarded.

* Prior to Reconstitution: Store at 20 to 25 degrees C (68 to 77 degrees F); excursions permitted to 15 to 30 degrees C
