* Indications:
& Rheumatic fever, rheumatoid arthritis and other rheumatic affections, gouty arthritis, psoriasis arthropathy.
& Severe bronchial asthma. Allergic states of all kinds such as drug sensetivity, transfusion reactions, serum sickness,
& severe hay fever ….. etc. Generalized eczema and dermatitis, urticaria, pruritus, lupus erythematosus, pemphigus,
& exfoliative dermatitis, dermatomycositis. Agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia, hemolytic anemia, myeloblastosis,
& various forms of leukemia, Hodgkin’s disease. Anterior pituitary and adrenal insufficiency.
* Dosage and Administration:
& Usually a high initial dose is given for few days which is then gradually reduced until the minimal dose required to
& maintain the improvement is reached.
& The average initial dose 30-60 mg. Maintainance dose 5-25 mg daily.
& Tablets should be taken after meals.
& Withdrawal should be gradual by a well managed tapering schedule.
* Not to be used without medical supervision.
* Store at temperature not exceeding 30 degrees C.
