* EPICEPHIN (Ceftriaxone) 1 gm for I.V. injection. 1 Sterile vial + 2 Ampoule solvent (5 ml) of Water For Injection.
& & – Each vial (Dry substance) contains: Ceftriaxone 1 gm as ceftriaxone disodium 3.5 H2O.
& & – Each ampoule (5 ml) of solvent contains: Sterile water for injection 5 ml.
* Broad Spectrum Antibiotic.
* Dissolve the content of the vial 1 gm in 10 ml sterile water for injection and then administer by direct slow I.V. injection
& & lasting 2 – 4 minutes.
* The freshly reconstituted solution is recommended. Its efficacy is maintained for at least 6 hours at room temperature.
* Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees C.
* To be used under medical supervision.
