* Actrapid® Penfill® 100 IU/ml. Solution for injection in cartridge 5 X 3 ml. Insulin human (rDNA).
Subcutaneous (SC) or intravenous (IV) use.
* Penfill® cartridges for use with Novo Nordisk insulin devices.
* 1 ml solution contains:
100 IU (3.5 mg) of insulin human (rDNA), zinc chloride, glycerol, metacresol, sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid and water for injections.
* Read the package leaflet before use.
* Single patient use only.
* After first opening: Use within 6 weeks when stored below 30 degrees C. Do not refrigerate.
* Discard the needle after each injection.
* Store in a refrigerator (2-8 degrees C). Do not freeze. Keep the cartridge in the outer carton in order to protect from light.
