Mechanism of Action:
Telmisartan: Angiotensin II receptor antagonist
Amlodipine: dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker
Indications:
TWYNSTA (telmisartan/amlodipine) tablets are indicated for the treatment of hypertension, alone or with other antihypertensive agents to lower blood pressure.
TWYNSTA tablets may also be used as initial therapy in patients who are likely to need multiple drugs to achieve their blood pressure goals.
